Congratulations to St. Paul’s emergency physician Dr. David Barbic and Centre for Heart Lung Innovation Principal Investigator Dr. Honglin Luo, with co-PI Dr. William Jia, who have received 2018 Innovation and Translational Research Awards.

Dr. Barbic’s award is funded by PHCRI and VCHRI and will support his study “Rapid agitation control with ketamine in the emergency department (RACKED).” The award to Drs. Luo and Jia is funded by PHCRI, VCHRI and the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation and will support their study “Engineering Coxsackievirus B3 for KRAS-driven lung cancer therapy.”
