Did you know? Providence Research is partnering with PHC Ventures to give Providence-affiliated researchers free access to IHID for a limited time.
IHID is a new platform that collects, analyzes, de-identifies, links and shares health data from many sources within a secure, cloud-based custom lab environment.
This made-at-PHC platform increases research capacity by providing fast access to quality data sets, a repeatable, auditable way of providing access to PHC data, as well as tools, support services, storage, and access to specified data.
What are the benefits of IHID?
In the current health data market, multiple sources are needed for data acquisition. It requires more of a DIY approach, as de-identification and data linkage need to be done manually. There is a lack of cloud-based systems with no specific storage platform. As researchers are responsible for their own security, there is a higher amount of risk involved.
In the new world of IHID, there is one access point with time-saving, fast access to high-quality data sets. It comes with cost-effective full service and technical support, is cloud-based and features safe long-term storage. With its secure environment, it is low risk for researchers.
What data is available?
Through IHID, PHC data is available from over 200,000 distinct patients, drawn from care delivered at PHC facilities in Metro Vancouver – St. Paul’s Hospital, Mount St. Joseph Hospital, and Holy Family Hospital. You will have access to clinical data, imaging data, more than five years of in-hospital de-identified patient records, and more.
This data is regularly refreshed based on the needs of researchers, and PHC Ventures is adding more features to IHID all the time.
Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of this limited-time opportunity for Providence Researchers. Learn more here or submit an application directly on the PHC Ventures website.
